Application Features
Scheduling
First and foremost, MVP is a scheduling system. MVP has powerful scheduling tools to help generate your schedule season after season, year after year.
You can quickly add a game with our Quick Add utility(above), or modify options more granularly with the standard way of scheduling events (below).
Standard scheduling in MVP provides tools like conflict resolution for when your venue is in use by another party, as well as niceties like indication of night lighting and sunset time for the time of day scheduled.
When moving year to year, we have you covered. With multiple ways to create a master schedule for your organization including matching last year’s weeks, or random selection you can create the schedule you need without extra hassle. With the built-in calendaring, it’s easy to remove or move a game before you commit the new schedule.
Tournaments
Scheduling and organizing tournaments can be a complex process. MVP makes it easier by providing a consistent way of selecting teams, and an easy way to manage brackets. Tournaments can take place across a day or a week or a month, and individual contests can happen in disparate places.
School Tools
If your organization is a school organization, we provide a single entry point for those in your organization that manage their own
organizations within MVP. This management includes staff, students and venues associated with each school. The dashboard is a single entry point for the school associates.
Calendar
MVP lets you schedule events outside of sporting events, along with displaying the current schedule for your school or entire organization. This is a convenient way to avoid venue conflicts and define black-out dates for the entire organization. This is all
accomplished through an easy to use web interface.
Messaging
Most organizations need some kind of internal messaging system so that messages can be sent to all people that are subscribed to a certain schedule, or to people grouped by roles. MVP provides this with a threaded message format so that everyone can share in the conversation that has been addressed. MVP also allows you to set up broadcast messages which are useful for finding whether or not teams are requesting games, trying to fill positions, or looking for an elusive catcher’s mit.
Officials
MVP supports tracking of officials and the training they must to take. We will work with you to provide adequate coverage for training materials. Often times these materials are large and require content delivery networks to serve adequately. We provide this service along with our Public Site maintenance.
Coops
The majority of states have small enough towns and counties to group counties for some sports. These Co-opted teams are trackable as their own entities in MVP, and can change from year to year.
Title IX Support
Sooner or later you will need to start tracking how your organization spends it’s dollars, and what the distribution of students you have across the various activities. Be prepared by using MVP which has these tracking mechanisms in-place already.
